The other night Joseph went outside to do something and hurried to run inside and said, "Where is Mom's camera, there is a beautiful sunset!" So of course I ran and got my camera. It was hard to see from our house because there are other houses that block the view. I ran around the corner and shot some pics. It was breathtaking and moments like this remind me why I love Mapleton so much.
It's crazy to think that in one short month I will be gone, again. It definitely has its pros and cons. I am so excited, but being home this summer has given me a greater appreciation for my hometown, family, friends, neighbors and many other things. I have been blessed to have grown up in this community. I hope that my parents will still be here when I have kids so that I can bring them here and show them all of the things I did as a child. Hopefully they too will appreciate Mapleton like I have!
