Small Excitement

Hey! So I actually have something to blog about. Sorry that my life has just been not the most exciting lately, but this week I have had some excitement so that is why it's titled "Small Excitement"

Timp temple is GORGEOUS!!

So my family has been gone for most of the week and I have been home alone because I had to work, but I have learned a few things from it. One, I don't like coming home to an empty house and two, I am lazy when I am by myself. It has been fun though. I had a summer roommate spend the night with me once and we had a good time catching up and talking. Then Friday night I went to see Despicable Me 2 with my friend, Katie, who leaves on her mission this Wednesday. Then we went to Sonic and watched an episode of Psych. It was a lot of fun.

Yesterday I went to the Mt Timp Temple. It is so pretty there. I went with a friend who I met through my BYU friend, Logan. She brought her other friend along as well and we had a good time. The temple always makes me happy. Funny story though, I got lost on the way there. Google Maps doesn't know what it's talking about. I just had to look for the temple and head towards it. I am glad I made it though. We went to get snowcones afterwards and just had fun talking and hanging out. I got home and was exhausted so I turned on a movie, but fell asleep during it.

Then today I had another farewell for my friend, Lisa. I got lost because one, I had the wrong address and two, google maps is LAME! I finally made it and she did such a good job. She is going to Spain and is going to fit right in with those Spaniards. I came home and snoozed for about two hours, I have just been so tired. Then I am cooking a big meal for my family when they get home. It has been interesting, but I am so proud of myself. I made french bread, lasagna, a caesar salad and brownies. I was going to make homemade ice cream, but I forgot to buy whole milk. Oh well, it will be for FHE tomorrow. Let me tell you though, I feel so domestic but exhausted. I am ready for another nap! haha but I am so glad that my family is coming home, I have missed them!

On Wednesday I got an email from Mary and she is doing so well! And on Thursday she sent me a 7 page letter! haha I was so happy. She is loving the work and leaves to Reno on Tuesday. I miss her a ton, but I am so happy for her and I am actually doing quite well with her being gone. 

Anyways, those are my small excitements. Hope all is well
