Update on the broseph

I don't have much to report on on my life, so I thought I'd write an update on Joseph. He has been out for 3 months and coming up on 4 on the 18th of October. It doesn't feel like that it is has been that long but it has been. His birthday is coming up and the house has been in freenzy mode trying to get a package out for his birthday and for Christmas. 

I can't wait to talk to him on Christmas. He got to call home before he left for Germany, but I was in London and we were on a day trip so I didn't get to talk to him. It's ok, because I got to go to Germany (no, I did not see him) but it was cool to be in the same country as him. Needless to say, I am quite excited to talk to him in less than 3 months!

Anyways, he is doing so well. He loves Germany and the people that he is teaching. He tells a lot of stories of finding people to teach by playing soccer with them. From his emails, it seems that that is his highlight of the week. He loves teaching the people and his German is improving immensely. We are so proud of Joseph and the hard work he is doing. It has also been really good for our family. We all try to write him emails and send our love and prayers to him. I have included some pictures, he is so happy and just loving it!
