Weekend of Fun!

This weekend was a blast! I don't have a lot of pictures and I apologize for that. I love being up here in Provo and living the student life :)

Friday night, I went on a date with a guy in my ward. It was so much fun! We went to the show at the Planetarium that is on campus. I had never been, and it was really cool. After that we walked to a shaved ice place and ate some delicious shaved ice. I haven't had any all summer because I was gone, so it was really good to have some. It was seriously such a great date. We just talked and got to know each other better and he is a great friend.

Saturday was not as exciting, but still pretty fun. Meg and I went with Mallory to running club and ran 3 miles. Meg is really fast so she went with some others in the group and Mallory and I just went our own pace. I love Mallory. She and I were in London together, and we had such a blast. It was fun talking to her and running just like we did in London. We live really close to each other so we have seen each other a lot. Then the BYU vs Virginia football game was here in Provo. I don't have any tickets so I went over to Dan's house. He and I are good friends from last year. It was fun to get to know his roommates and watch BYU beat Virginia.
Later that night, we had some friends from last year come over to our apartment and hang out and play games. It was fun to get some of the group back together and we played Quelf, which is a really fun and silly game. It lasted forever, but we all had a great time.

Sunday was a little calmer of a day. The Ogden Temple was re-dedicated and it was really neat to participate in that. I went to the 10 o'clock session and had the opportunity to listen to Pres. Monson say the dedicatory prayer. After that I came home and slept for a little while before eating and doing some homework. Everyone was gone so Mallory and I went on a walk. It is starting to cool down here, and it felt good to get out and feel the cool air. Then ward prayer was fun and I love my ward!

That's really all that happened this weekend. This week I have a few more tests and it is going to be a little busier now that things are starting to pick up speed. Love you all!

Love,

Rach
