One of my favorite things in the world is the Olympics. And tonight they started. Unfortunately, I can't watch them since I don't have tv but I did go down to the lobby to watch a little bit of the opening ceremonies. I love how something as simple as competing in sporting events can bring the world together, even if it is only for this short period of time.
As and American, my buttons were bursting as I watched the 500+ athletes who were competing for this amazing country. Go Team USA!!
I hope everyone enjoys the Olympics, I am excited to watch diving, gymnastics, swimming, track and field, soccer and so many other events.
