My best friend, Meg is leaving to serve a mission next week! Her farewell was this morning and she did so great. I can't even begin to express how much I am going to miss this girl. We have had so many conversations about missions and the gospel and so many other things. Meg has been such an amazing friend and example to me. It is so hard to say good-bye for the next 18 months. I have been on the verge of tears all day. Last night I was feeling a little down so I called her and I just cried and told her how happy I was for her, but how sad I was.
We have had so much fun together, and I am so excited for her to serve a mission. But I will miss staying up late into the night just talking about boys and school and silly things.
Many football games were attended to by us and more will be when she gets home!
We have celebrated many birthdays together!

Meg, I know what an amazing missionary you are going to be. You will be so happy that you went and you are going to have all of these incredible experiences. I can not express to you how sad I am that you are leaving, but I also can't express how happy I am that you decided to serve. Thanks for being my best friend and always there when I needed you. My life has been so blessed because you were in it. I guess we will just have to wait a few months to be together again. Always know how much I love you and what an example you are to me! I love you Megs!!
