Happy Father's Day Dad!

Today has been kind of an emotional day. It started out great with a good breakfast for Dad and just enjoying each others company. Then church started and Emma gave a great talk and we had a homecoming from a friend who just returned from his mission. Then the closing song came, "Love at Home." That is the signature song in our house, we sing it every week at FHE. I looked up at Dad preparing to share a smile and what I saw I was not prepared for. He was crying and I looked over at Mom and she was crying. I knew I was a goner. I started crying and we were just sad to have this be the last Sunday we would all be together for two years. It has been a hard day, but my Dad is awesome and has been such an influence in all of our lives.
I know that he has helped prepare Joseph for a mission and me for college and will continue to help all of us as we go through life. He has helped me so much, I can not even begin to express my love and appreciation for him. I tell him everything and love to go visit him at work. It has been a blessing to have him so near to me and just a phone call away. I love you Dad! Happy Fathers day!

Love,
Rach
