Weekend Wrap-Up

Well, I never thought that I would say this, but I am glad that this weekend is over. It was busy, stressful, and just crazy. It all started Friday morning. I had my interview to get into the dietetics program. It went pretty well I think. I was super nervous, but I hope that I get in. We find out if we got accepted this Friday, so just stay tuned.

After a day or so of thinking about how it went, I am pleased to say that my interview went well. I had the department chair, and she is super intimidating. But one of the nicest ladies that I know, they even gave us a cookie after we were finished with the interview. This is what I wore :)
This is Camille. She is my friend in my ward, and also applied to the dietetics program. I am so glad I had a friend to go through this stressful morning with. We were both super nervous! I hope that we both get in, cause that would be a blast! :)
I don't have any pictures, but on friday night we had our first intramural soccer game. We lost, but I was the only one to score our goal, so I was pretty excited about that. I forgot how much it hurts when playing soccer. I swear every past injury came out that night, but we had a ton of fun! So much fun that we played with a group of friend on Saturday afternoon. Saturday was such a beautiful day and it killed me to have to stay inside and study. But I did after playing soccer for a good hour with my friends!
Sunday we decided that we wanted waffles for lunch. Everyone pitched in and helped make the waffles, and buttermilk syrup. I had bought some strawberries at the grocery store the night before because they were so cheap, so I just had to add that to my waffles. It was delicious! No better way to spend a Sunday than eating good food.

Sunday, Joseph came and picked me up and took me home. It was so nice! I needed to get out of my apartment or I would have gone crazy. I realize how much my family means to me now that I have lived out of the house for two years. Emma, Camille and I got kind of picture happy and took "Sister Sunday" pictures. Camille also gave me the best back rub ever!
When I got home, I found 6 baby chicks. Mom and Dad got a little chicken happy and purchased 6 babies. I have to admit that they were pretty cute. As soon as Mom got home from her meetings, she went to go check on them and hold them. It made me laugh how much they love this new hobby of theirs. I am glad that they enjoy being chicken farmers!
Emily and Reagan are visiting Utah, and boy has this little girl gotten big! I love her so much. She was so cute, super energetic and just loveable. I told Emily that I can't even keep up with Reagan, and I haven't even been playing with her for an hour. We had a lot of fun with her though! Emily and I are going rock climbing so that will be fun. I love when we get to see them :)

Well that is the weekend wrap up. I am glad that it's over, but it was nice to enjoy. Now while everyone is enjoying their spring break, I will be going to class and trying to keep up. Hope everyone is doing well!

Love,

Rach
