Grateful-showers :)

This is for yesterdays post. I will post again tonight with what I am grateful for today. But I am so grateful for a running shower. Right now, our bathroom doesn't have any light in it. We are showering in the dark. Yesterday I also got an email from a friend in the Philippines. She shared with me an experience that she had had this week. She said that they do not have a shower and that when it rains they put buckets outside so that they can use that water to shower. She said that it started to pour while they were on their way to an appointment so they ran home to go get the buckets. When they got the buckets out it stopped raining. They left the buckets out just in case it would rain again. Later that day she saw some kids by the buckets and thought that they were stealing her water, but soon realized that they were giving them water. 

I read this right before I got into my shower. When I got in the shower I started to complain and say things like, ugh I have to shower in the dark, I can't even see which one is shampoo. After these thoughts came to my head I immediately thought of Scarlett and how she didn't even have a shower. I soon asked for forgiveness and have noticed that I don't take as many things for granted. I am grateful for a hot shower, even if I have to shower in the dark for a few days.
