A Stellar Sunday!

It snowed today. I don't think that is a good thing, but it did give me a few really great photos. Today was just so great. I am so grateful for this gospel and for the joy and hope it brings. Last week I went and talked to my Bishop about some concerns I was having with my life. We talked for a long time and he gave me a few homework assignments. He gave me a few scriptures that I was supposed to really ponder and pray about. Within the few days that I started doing that, I felt such a loving spirit and I knew that everything would be ok. I didn't get answers to my questions, but I knew that I would be watched out for and that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ loved me. It was one of the best feelings ever!

Today was fast Sunday. The Bishop challenged me to start my fast Saturday afternoon after lunch. I didn't think I would be able to do it, but I did. It was hard, but I have never felt so good after a fast than I did today. I went on a walk to say a prayer to end my fast and brought my camera along with me. It was beautiful. We really are so blessed to live in such a beautiful world. For this month, in honor of Thanksgiving. I am going to try and post everyday something that I am grateful for. And include a picture.
So for Nov. 1-I am grateful for my education and the opportunity I have to live in Provo and pursue a degree!
Nov. 2-I am so grateful for amazing roommates. For their love for me and my love for them. They are some pretty amazing girls!

And today, Nov. 3-I am grateful for this beautiful world in which we get to live in. I am grateful for the opportunities I have had to travel to other places and grateful for the chances that I will be able to in the future (hopefully London in the summer).

Also my friend, Kenzie, always has amazing quotes on her blog so I am going to try and find quotes to put on mine. It probably won't be everyday, but maybe one a week. This is going to be fun!

"My brothers and sisters, to express gratitude is gracious and honorable, to enact gratitude is generous and noble, but to live with gratitude ever in our hearts is to touch heaven."
-Pres. Thomas S. Monson (The Divine Gift of Gratitude, October 2010)
