Well the time has come. Mar left for her mission on Wed, July 10. That was probably one of the hardest, but happiest days. She came on the 5th and we have hung out with each other since. Wed was hard dropping her off, but Tues night we stayed up late talking and we just hung out. I miss her so much, but am so grateful for her example in serving a mission. Missions have always been a sensitive subject for me, but I know that missionary work is so so important. I hope that someday I too can be called to serve.
Good-byes are always the worst especially when they are to your best friends. I am so grateful for Mar. I met her my freshman year of college and have just had so much fun with her. I miss her a ton and I didn't like saying good bye to her, but I know that the people of Reno, Nevada will be greatly blessed by having her as a missionary. I love you Mar, good luck and keep up the great work!
