Tribute to Dad

 Our Birthday's are only one day apart, so we usually celebrate a little together :) 

 We like to do weird things with him. He likes us to teach us about science :)

We like to cross country ski together :)

Happy Father's Day Dad! You are truly my hero and I don't know what I would have done without you these last couple years.
One thing that I have noticed being on my own is that I truly appreciate all that my parents have done for me. It is nice having dad on campus, and just going into his office to talk. He sometimes buys me food and I always appreciate that. He is such a great guy and I don't know where I would be without him. We have a lot in common. We love the outdoors and spending time camping, hiking, and just enjoying God's creation.

Yesterday as I was sitting in church I realized that last Father's day I had moved out and it was my second day. I was upset that I wouldn't be home for Father's day and Dad made me stay there Sunday and not come home. I was really sad and I didn't like just calling him, I wanted to see him. So much has changed and I can't believe it. I am so grateful for the example he is to me. He loves his family and the gospel and is such a blessing to have as a Dad!
