China Pt 5

Ok there is this part and one more. I broke Beijing into two parts because that is where we went and saw all of the touristy things. So this is Day 1 in Beijing! We went to the Temple of Heaven and to Pearl Market after we flew in from Xi'an.

 There were so many older people playing cards and checkers. They just come into the park to play with everyone else.

 This is the Temple. The emperor would go in once every season and pray to the God's for a good harvest. We didn't actually go inside, but here it is from the outside. I love the Chinese architecture.

After the Temple we headed over to Pearl Market. I should have gotten some pictures, but I didn't. This is the place that you barter with people and get junky things for great prices. It was so much fun. Most of the people spoke english, but my word were they annoying. They just peters you so much about buying their stuff. I got a bag, some scarves, ties, and earrings. So it was a pretty fun thing. After that we went to eat and played basketball, well I ran while everyone played basketball. We went to Olympic garden and it was so pretty! Tomorrow or the next part will be about the Great Wall of China and the Forbidden city! Stay tunned.
