"Of Regrets and Resolutions"

Today my mom sent me the sweetest text. She told me that she loved me and hoped that I was having a good day, enjoying the sunshine. It made me so happy. Then later tonight after I got out of my lab I called my brother and talked to him for a short time. Before I hung up I said, "I Love you." After I hung up I realized that I don't say I love you enough.

Usually it is something casual like, 'love ya' but never  'I love you.' After I thought about that the talk "Of Regrets and Resolutions," by Pres. Uchtdorf. He talks about how many people regret not telling those they love that they love them. He then talks how we need to fix it. So even though saying the words 'I love you,' is awkward for me, I am going to try it more often and I wanted to write some 'love notes' on my blog.

So the first is to my Dad:

Dad, I love you! Thank you so much for everything you have done for me. I really love coming to visit you at work and being able to talk about everything. You are my hero and I love you so much!!

Mom, I love you! I don't know what I would have done without you my whole life. I love calling you and talking to you about silly, random, serious, or anything else. You have been such an influence in my life and I want to be just like you when I grow up! I love you so much!!

Joseph, I love you! I have always looked up to you. You have always been there for me when I needed you most and you are sensitive to how I was feeling. You are so strong, physically and spiritually, and I really appreciate that about you. I love you!

Emma, I love you! I know that we haven't gotten a long very well over the years, but I feel like we have gotten closer over the last couple months. I love talking to you and you are so cute! I love you!

Camillie, I love you! You are so crafty and cute. I am so glad that you let me share your room over Christmas break. That was very nice of you. You are so giggly and happy and it is contagious! I love you!

Michael Buddy, I love you! You are so funny, and I love watching you build your weapons and explain everything about it to me. You are such a nice boy and I have loved watching you grow up. I am sad that I miss a lot of the things you are involved in, but you are still so awesome to watch play soccer and play silly games! I love you Buddy!

I love you Family! :)
