I know that I have been having a hard time blogging lately, but life is a little crazy! School is offically underway again and to be honest I am less than thrilled. It took a lot of man power and forcing by my parents in order for me to leave home again and come back to school.
Don't get me wrong I love living here in Provo and I love my roommates and the college life, but I did NOT want to start the hecktick life of classes, homework, constant studying and eating the same food over and over. I have been in school since June and I am done!
I loved summer and fall semesters, but I am in need of a long break. Come sooner April! But on a happier note I like my classes and I think I will do well this semester. The classes are... Chinese 102, Nutrition 100, Book of Mormon pt 2, Intro to Bio-Organic Chemistry (Chem 285), Human Anatomy (PDBIO 220), and Beginning Swimming.
They all seem really interesting and so far I love all of them. Anatomy is super fascinating. I have never been a huge fan about learning the body, but they explained it in a different way and I think I will share it with you; the professor said that we are learning anatomy to learn more about our bodies, but to also become like God. When we learn and understand how our bodies function we become like God because he is the one that created our bodies. He knows every little details and knew exactly what would work and what wouldn't. So by learning about our bodies we are becoming a little more like God.
It is amazing to see the body and all that it can do. It has definitely given me a different perspective and helped me appreciate it more. Nutrition is my favorite class though, of course! I love learning about food it is so interesting!
Anyways, tonight two of my friends get their mission calls so I will be going to that and then hopefully I will post some pictures later tonight! I hope you all have a great week and stay warm, because it is COLD here!
Love always,
Rach
Nice to read about your life. It is interesting how it brings back such strong memories of college life.
ReplyDeleteGlad that you like your classes. Maybe you could post a nutrition fact each blog.
