In The Spirit of Thanksgiving

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I am doing a post about being grateful. We all know what is meant by counting your blessings, being grateful for what you have and the likes. But this year I tried to do something a little different and it was hard.

I tried to write a few letters to people who mattered in my life, and who I was grateful for. I didn't get very far because stamps and envelopes are a lot of money. But I wrote a lot and haven't sent them out. Hopefully I will get around to it.

But I wrote to one of my good friends, Ryan. Ryan has been a friend from junior high and I have always enjoyed his friendship. He was always really nice and has treated me well. I have always been grateful for him. He is at school up at the U in Salt Lake. I wrote him a letter and last night I talked to him briefly and he expressed his gratitude for my note. It just made me happy that I was able to send someone a little cheer.

So I just wanted to write a few things that I am grateful for (in no particular order).

Food, a job, roommates, mom, dad, brothers, sisters, grandparents, BYU, my apartment, the gospel, Prophets and apostles, the temple, the internet, music, and many many many other things!

Happy Fall and Thanksgiving!!!
