Brigham City Temple

Right now I am in the Library on campus trying to study. I have had a headache all day and have been stressed out of my mind. So I am taking a break and blogging about some happy times.

These last two weeks I have been focusing a lot on temples. Last Saturday the stake presidency bussed my whole stake up to Brigham City to attend the Temple Open House. It was one amazing experience.
The spirit is so strong in any one of God's houses, it is definitely a sacred place. As we got to the sealing and celestial room, I knew that there was no other place than God's house that I would be married. It was beautiful, elegant, pure, and peaceful. The whole place radiated with God's love.

Then on Sunday the temple was dedicated. It was a beautiful dedication. As President Packer was saying the dedicatory prayer I could picture an image in my mind of the heavens opening and God accepting this Temple as another one of His homes. Then I felt the spirit that this was a place where families are sealed together and will live with each other through all eternity.

Being from Utah I have experienced a couple of dedications and open houses. Each one was special and unique. But the one thing that I love more than anything is doing the Hosanna Shout. It is always a spiritual experience and I love participating in it.

I am so grateful for the temples. They seal families together forever and I am so grateful for my family. I am also grateful for my future family. I know that if I keep God's commandments and endure to the end that he will grant me the blessing of being married to a wonderful man in that beautiful place. Not only will he bless me with a husband, but with my own children and their joyful spirits. I am so grateful for this gospel, and I know that it is true!
