Happy 4th of July!! :)

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!! :) I hope that you all enjoyed your day, I know that I did.

We didn't have school, and it was the BEST!! So the day started when my roommate, Maddison, ran a 10k. We got there right as she crossed the finish line, so we just missed her. Then after some naps and cleaning Angie and Kaylee came to my house in Mapleton. Becca met us there and we hung out, did laundry, slept some more, watched Harry Potter 2, fell asleep again, made homemade raspberry ice cream, ate a lot, then hiked the Y to watch some fireworks. It was so much fun.

My poor roommate, Ragan, got sick :( we felt so bad. Anyways, it was a great day spent with family and friends.

I have always been a history geek and the Fourth of July is special to me. I am so grateful for this amazing country that we live in. There was a lot of sacrifice in order for us to obtain the freedoms that we have today. My trip to Washington D.C has really instilled that concept for me. It is amazing at the history that this nation has. I am so grateful for the soldiers that are fighting for our freedoms and for the sacrifice they make to protect me, my family and my rights. Happy Birthday America!!
