College Part 1

Welcome to my room! I moved in yesterday morning and got settled in. I am a little unorganized right now, but I will have time to do that later. So far I love my roomies. We talked for a little bit last night and I think that we will all get along pretty well. We are planning to take a 'family' picture and hang it on our very bare wall. :) So yesterday was New Student Orientation. It was a long day, very overwhelming. We started out with convocation where we listened to some speakers then we had lunch, went to a college where our major was in. Then we had a break. It felt a little odd to be walking around campus by myself having no one to hang out with. But that was ok, I kind of liked it. Then I went to a financial aid presentation, we met up with my cousin, Douglas, and went to the Creamery for dinner. After that we started to unpack.
When mom left I was a little sad. I was worried, nervous, scared, all of the above! But I went to the events that they had planned. There was a little show explaining the honor code and then we learned some country dances, where I got to meet a lot of new people. It was fun!
Then this morning my roommate, Rebecca, and I went on a run! It was a lot of fun. Well I am off for today, I will post regularly!
