So I don't know if you know this, but I turn 18 in 1 week and 5 days!!!! Can you tell I am excited!? I love birthdays. They are a time for me to reflect all that I have done in a year. I can't believe that I will be 18. I remember waiting to turn 16 and I remember that I couldn't wait to date and drive. Then 17 is not the funnest age, nothing really exciting comes to you, but it was an AWESOME year. 18 I get to register to vote, start calling infomercials, apply to other jobs, and kind of be an adult. Since it is my birthday I will just tell you some random, weird things about me:
1. I love the sound of ice crunching under my feet 2. I LOVE ice cream 3. I am a history and government nerd 4. When playing Ticket to Ride I can't stand the trains being crooked 5. I am not a fan of frosting 6. Tomatoes make me want to gag 7. I love summer 8. I only wear flip-flops or bare feet in the summer 9. My favorite color is orange 10. I love apples 11. I am crazy 12. I could care less what people think about me 13. I love getting the mail 14. I love to run and walk 15. I love to travel 16. I like camping/hiking/being out doors 17. I am the oldest grandchild on oneside and number 7 on the other 18. I love pony-tails!!

ReplyDeleteHey I missed reading your blog until today. Now you only have six days until your birthday. Whoa! Time flies. Can you believe it? I can't. I can remember quite well when you were born. But, then again, I can remember quite well when your mom was born. Life is an amazing thing. Although I don't remember when I was born, I can remember quite a bit about when I was a small child. Thank heaven for our memories. And you are so wise to keep a journal. That has not been one my forte's. So if I write things down now I will have a lot of writing to do. Congratulations for keeping up with your journal.
I loved reading your list of random weird things about you. I'm sure I have a random weird list of things somewhere inside of me that I might write about myself on my birthday if I can remember to do so.
