January!

 January 2011
January 2012

I was walking home from work and I saw this landscape and had to take a picture, so I ran home and back in order to get this shot (above shot). And the picture above that is January 2011. Can you see the difference? One has a ton of snow and the other is nice and sunny!? It has not snowed once, except in October. It has been nice and pretty with highs around 40-55 degrees! I have to admit that I kind of miss the snow. Anyways, I love January. It is a time for a fresh start, the last week of the term and the end of a semester! That means I only have a half of a year before I graduate. I can't believe it. I still haven't heard from BYU, USU or UofU but yeah. I am loving school right now, especially Zumba. Maybe I want to be a Zumba teacher?! haha Hope you all have a great week.

  1. Your pictures show quite a contrast between Jan 2011 and Jan 2012. As I remember it was pretty cold last year for quite a while. Will lack of snow this year determine water levels in the spring and summer? I mean does the snow pack from last year still help your water for this year? Hope so.

January is a new beginning. At least it can be. You might like the book THE HAPPINESS PROJECT by Gretchen Rubin. It is pretty detailed and very well researched and you might get some good ideas from reading it. Don't know that you have the time to read it but maybe put it on your list for later. I couldn't do anything as involved as she does but the idea that she picked something and actually worked at it and dedicated herself to the project for a year was quite amazing to me. I thought it was a very good concept.

Glad you are enjoying the new year!
