Health

I am sorry I haven't written in a while. It has been pretty crazy around here.
Since I didn't do a Thanksgiving post, I kind of wanted to do that now, but for especially one thing... My healthy body.

Running gives me the greatest pleasure of thinking and getting away from all of the stress. As I was running one day, I realized how much I am thankful for a healthy body that can do these type of activities. I am so grateful for my strong legs, that they can carry me while running or walking or any other daily activity. I am grateful for a heart that keeps me alive in order for me to live and experience new opportunities. I am grateful for my lungs that they help me to breath, and I am thankful for my mind. That it will work through endless hours of studying or thinking through problems or even just remembering the good times that I have had.

I can't express how much I am grateful for my health. I am so grateful for my parents, without them I wouldn't have this beautiful body of mine. I now that this is a small thing, but I have realized that it is a gift. I don't remember what general authority said this but this is one of my favorite quotes, "Our body is God's gift to man, what we do with it is our gift to God."

  1. Amen! I am thankful for mine too. Although mine is a few years older than yours, it works quite well and allows me to do so much. This morning Emily, Danny, Grandpa and I worked together to rake leaves and move some wood for Cheri Ann. We got some good and needed exercise and were able to help at the same time. And this because our bodies were in good working order. A great blessing!
