Happy Veterans' Day. I had a couple of experiences that I would like to share. One, we had an assembly on Veterans' day and what it meant. I am so grateful for the beautiful country that we live in. I am grateful for those who sacrifice everything in order for me to live happily and have the freedoms that I have. Thank You Soldiers!
Second, in seminary today Magrath Seminary in Alberta, Canada sent letters of condolences to our seminary over the three girls that died in a tragic train accident. This is their story; on the same night that we lost those three girls Magrath lost four friends. Two boys and two girls were in a car when it rolled over and went into a river. They were found the next morning still in the car. They sent letters of faith, hope, and their testimonies. I am grateful for the support we as a church give each other. I am so grateful for my Savior, Jesus Christ and for his atonement. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church here on the earth. I love it and will bear my testimony to everyone that wants to hear it. I am so grateful to have forever families, and that I will be with them when I die. And I love you all!! Hope you have a great 11-11-11.
