Benham Falls
Uncle Collin on the bike and I am on the little kid tag a long! Super fun. ( Next Olympic sport. Not as easy as it looks)
Family with Joan at Benham Falls!
Our family got back from a really fun trip to Sunriver, Oregon last night. We got together with the Hansen family. It was really great to see all of our family members from Pennsylvania, Oregon, Washington and Utah.
It is a 13 hour drive to Oregon and it didn't seem as long as it usually does, which was a good thing! The reunion started on Friday, but our family drove Wednesday and hung out with each other on Thursday before seeing everyone on Friday.
Thursday we went to Benham Falls. It isn't really a waterfall, but more rapid like!
It was so fun. On friday we got together and ate pizza and had a big family birthday party. Then on Saturday we were at the park for a good chunk of the day. The weather was awesome and we were able to enjoy playing many different games at the park. We played basketball, tetherball, baseball/softball, kickball, soccer, hop-scotch, four-square, horse shoes, and many other games! It was so fun to be with the family.
Every morning I went walking with mom, and that was always good. It is always nice to talk to her, especially when the scenery is wonderful. We went walking every morning except for one when I went on a bike ride with my dad. It was 8 miles of breathtaking views and lots of rocks on the ground. Let's just say that my behind is still sore. :)
Sunday we had family home evening and just laid low for the day. And yesterday we came home.
We are so thankful for my great-aunt, Joan, who let us stay in her house. We also got to watch her play in a tennis tournament and it was so fun to watch!
And of course because it is summer you are never home for long. So we have today and tomorrow to hang out at home and then it is time for the Trek. I am so excited. Hope that you are all having an amazing summer!
